Got a question? We should be able to answer it here in our FAQs:
What is VitalityMove?
VitalityMove – two events that seek to fuse music and running and bring an energy to running that entices even the most reticent runner to join us.
When is VitalityMove?
We have two dates at two different locations:
- Chatsworth House – 9 July 2017
- Windsor Great Park – 17 September 2017
Who has to pay what?
- Runners 16+ have an entry fee for the event
- Runners under 16 run for free!
- Spectators are FREE!
How do I know if I am entered into the event?
When you enter through our online system, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming your entry. You will receive email updates and a link to the race information as race day approaches. Please make sure the details we have for you are correct.
Is there parking? If so, how much is it?
There will be car parking at both venues for a fee of £5 per car. This can be paid either during the online registration or at the event when you arrive.
When will race packs be sent out?
Packs will be posted out from approximately 3 weeks before the event up until the Tuesday before the event. Please ensure that you provide us with the correct address. If you need to update your address details, please email our Customer Services team on email@example.com. Runners from overseas can collect their race pack from the event help desk on event day. If your pack doesn’t arrive before event day, please go to the event information desk where our team will be able to issue you with a new pack.
I can no longer take part! I have injured myself, become pregnant, got to go away on business, etc. Can I have a refund?
Possibly – please refer to our Withdrawals Policy for clarification.
Will the 5k and 10k be timed?
Yes! The 5k and 10k distances will timed using UHF Chip technology. Your finish time will be online as soon as you cross the line. The Music Miles will not be timed.
What terrain will I be running on?
Chatsworth House – A mixture of grass and hard paths.
Windsor Great Park – Mainly hard paths but there may be some grass areas as well. The music mile is only hard paths.
Can I run with a buggy?
Chatsworth House – Due to the terrain we can only allow buggies at the Music Miles for this event. The 5k and 10k are mainly on grass and can go up hills so we advise against them.
Windsor Great Park – We allow buggies at all Windsor events.
Can I take part in a wheelchair?
Chatsworth House – Due to the terrain we can only allow wheelchairs at the Music Miles for this event. The 5k and 10k are mainly on grass and can go up hills so we advise against them.
Windsor Great Park – We allow wheelchairs at all Windsor events.
Please note that both event villages are on grass so this might cause an issue depending on the type of wheelchair you have.
Can I fundraise for charity?
Yes, we welcome all fundraisers. Our official charity partner is Diabetes UK. However, if you have a charity which is close to your heart you can fundraise for them as well. We recommend you collect your donations through JustGiving – click here for the Chatsworth JustGiving page and click here for the Windsor JustGiving page.
When do I know my start time?
You can find a provisional timing list on the homepage of each event. Your personal event start times will be emailed out to you one week before the event.
Can I run with music?
For health and safety reasons, we advise you not to wear headphones whilst you run. We will have music around the event village and on the course throughout the day to help you #movetothemusic!
